Connoisseurs of traditional straw fedoras will be impressed by the latest shipment of new Stetson and Dobbs hats. These American-made hats are high-quality trendsetters for the summer.

These are four of the newest straw hats at Hats Plus. Going clockwise from the top are the Dobbs Gate, Stetson Palermo, Stetson Whitehall and Stetson Barbaro. These straw hats will be the toast of the summer.

Leading off is the Stetson Whitehall. It has the traditional blocking of a teardrop crown hat, and its colors offer varying degrees of playfulness–allowing you to wear it to work or weekend barbecues. The bowless hat band also gives it a fresh modern air.

The two-tone Stetson Barbaro helps to keep your look fresh and funky. Made of Florentine Milan, you know it is well constructed. The colors and the bowless band give it attitude enough for you to keep it real any time under the sun.

The Stetson Palermo gives its wearer a mysterious Mediterranean quality. Both classy and fun, the center-dent crown gives it some distinction, and the bowless band gives it a little party.

The Dobbs Gate jazzes up any summer wardrobe. It is made from a refined Venetian Milan for light weight and quality you can feel. The generous brim keeps the sun out of your eyes, and you can snap it up at night to make any scene.

More great summer straws are coming from these hat makers and others; so keep checking in to the Hat Chronicles. Or, if you’re in the Chicagoland area, you should really check them out in person at Hats Plus!
