The Bailey Fairbanks is one of those rare hats that are great for all seasons and most weather. With its center dent crown and grosgrain band sporting decorative stitching, it is suitable for business and pleasure. The 2 ½-inch downturn brim helps keep the sun out of your eyes. It is made from Bailey’s crushable wool “Litefelt” that can be carefully crushed from side to side (not up and down) and retain its shape. It is also water repellent (not water proof), and less afraid of April showers and winter snow than many hats. It also features a cloth sweatband that is more absorbent in warm weather and warmer to wear in cool weather. USA.
